The appearance is generally black cylindrical activated carbon, unshaped coal based activated carbon, and coal based powder activated carbon.
Cylindrical activated carbon, also known as pullets activated carbon, is generally made from powdered raw materials and binders through kneading, extrusion, carbonization, activation and other processes, which has developed pore structure.

Coal based extruded activated carbon:
Widely used in solvent recovery, industrial waste gas purifification, protective equipment, home decoration air purifification, power station raw water purifification, pure water treatment, chemical pigment water treatment, water treatment in food plant and pharmaceutical plants, waste gas treatment of biological carriers in sewage plants, factories and garbage dumps, reuse of reclaimed water, mariculture seedlings, purifified water manufacturing, cold storage preservation etc.
Coal based granular activated carbon:
It is suitable for the purifification of raw water in the power stations, especially in the fifiltration and purifification of chemical wastewater, chloride treatment of brackish water in the power plant boilers, and soil improvement of golf courses, etc.
Coal based powder activated carbon:
Mainly suitable for top water purifification, which adsorbs the organic, residual chloride and odor in the raw water, reduces turbidity, improves taste, and make it reach the standard of drinking water. It also have a good effect in the sewage treatment industry.
